Diagnostic Analysis: The most common problem with this particular compressor is usually not a failure of the compressor itself. Instead it may be due to a faulty control valve. Along with cooling loss, common symptoms include air from the vent that is merely fresh or even somewhat warm. Suction pressures will be above normal, anywhere from 45-80psi, while the discharge pressure will remain somewhat normal or below normal.

2013-2018 Nissan ALTIMA 2.5 Liter Engine (Fits SL or SV Model ONLY!)
2013-2018 Nissan ALTIMA 3.5 Liter V6 Engine (Fits SL or SV Model ONLY!)
This new Electronic Control Valve is only compatible with your VCS-14EC Compressor for the vehicles listed above only! This electronic control valve is located on the rear/bottom plate of your compressor with a 2 wire detachable plug. This Valve will not fit any aftermarket compressors.
