How to use the product: Apply gently, paying close attention to dry or rough areas, and reapply as needed. This product is originally solid and changes color and texture depending on temperature. This product melts at temperatures above body temperature and hardens again at temperatures below that. As a natural product, its appearance may change but this does not affect product quality. During the melting and cooling process, fat crystals may form and the color/texture may become irregular or grainy. Solid shea butter melts by placing it in a pot of hot water (over 100 degrees Fahrenheit) for 30 minutes or by heating it in the microwave.
