[Sibilla] This leather is made by TEMPESTI, a vegetable tanning specialist located in Ponte a Egora, Santa Croce area, Tuscany, Italy. We use the raw hides of adult cows raised in the cold regions of Scandinavian countries, including Denmark, which is known as the highest quality product. The skin, which originates from Northern Europe, is fine-grained and has a high oil and fat content, so it is characterized by both excellent durability and beautiful appearance. In consideration of environmental protection, the tanning agent is made from surplus wood used in the manufacture of furniture and paper. The appropriate amount of oil and fat added makes it lightweight, supple, and flexible, but the original tension and stiffness of tanned leather remains, giving it an exquisite texture. It has a natural and transparent dye that is difficult to reproduce with tanned leather, allowing you to enjoy both the beautiful color and the original atmosphere of the leather. The leather is treated with white wax to give it a light, soft, vintage feel. The wax on the surface gives it a unique touch, and as you use it, the wax can be removed by friction and sink into the leather, giving it a translucent amber color that you can enjoy as it changes over time.
