Does exactly what it specifies. But wear it inside out to keep the smoother side on your hair.rhe only reason I give 4 instead of 5 stars is because mine has slid off two nights in a row. I use silk pillow cases too for the same effect, so the bonnet doesn't snag on the pillows. I have solved the issue using a hair tie to tighten the headband. That aside this is excellent and a damp side cheaper than the named brands for exactly the same quality.
