The new 1000S model features a shallow groove spool, a variation of the MAG-Z BOOST 1000 Spool G1, an ultra-high-precision 34mm spool made from G1 duralumin and equipped with MAG-Z BOOST technology!
The MAG Z BOOST maximizes the long-distance casting performance of the MAGFORCE Z with a distance-focused design.
By adopting the BOOST structure, the conventional backlash is avoided and the reel instantly returns to its original position, delivering a smooth trajectory from the mid-cast to just before landing, achieving maximum casting distance!
This results in pitching performance that allows for low-trajectory presentations and long-lasting skipping that can reach the deepest parts of cover!
Compared to the RCSB MAG-Z BOOST 1000 Spool G, the grooves are shallower, equivalent to 16 lb. x 10 m of line capacity.
The shallow grooves allow for improved spool start-up by stocking only the necessary amount of line.
A compact swing provides incredible castability, sending lures to pinpoint spots.
The 14lb.-100m line capacity is just right, providing excellent pitching response. It's like it's perfect for both long-distance casting and pitching. This spool is the perfect choice for all-purpose use in slightly stronger (heavy) fishing.
This spool is recommended for shore anglers who prioritize long-distance casting, anglers who prioritize greater extension over the trouble-free performance of the SV BOOST spool, and those who want to combine it with the SV series for greater convenience in a variety of situations.
Please note that while the MAG Z BOOST is not suitable for lightweight lures, it is designed for optimal performance when casting medium to heavy lures long distances.
*Caution: Regarding noise during casting*
With a BOOST spool, you may hear an audible "click" as the inductor rotor returns during casting (flying the lure).
The inductor rotor, which controls braking force, returns faster and stronger than conventional reels with a longer operating stroke, maximizing casting distance.
The inductor rotor's return sound may be louder than with conventional reels, but this is not abnormal.
The BOOST reel's two-stage operation generates up to two clicks, and the volume and frequency of the clicks vary depending on the strength of the casting force.
