Full-Drive2 has always been a tube screamer killer. The original Full-Drive2's two Boosts that could be turned on and off were smart, but because it simply switched between two different distortion settings on the fly, it was not possible to set the volume level for each mode individually, making it difficult to balance the two modes. The Full-Drive2V2 features a separate volume control for the Drive2 channel and three clipping modes: Comp Cut (CC) (a warmer 90's version that leaves a clean boost), Flat Mid (FM) (a warmer, fatter FM from the late 90's to early 2000's), and Half Clip (HC) mode (a very open and natural sounding sound). Features include a JRC4558 op amp, full-size audiophile grade capacitors, 9-18VDC operation, 9V battery power, and true bypass using Fulltone's exclusive 3PDT footswitch.
