How to Use: Fold at least once to make an appropriately sized pack and moisten with castor oil. (Oil can be preheated or used with a heating pad or hot water bottle. Do not heat if infection or fever is present or suspected.) Place pack over affected area and cover with plastic wrap and heating pad, if desired. A towel can also be used to protect the bed. Allow pack to remain on for one hour or more. (Note: Do not fall asleep with heating pad on.) After removing pack, wash skin with baking soda solution (1 teaspoon per 1/4 gallon of water). Or use Castor Clean or Castor Clean Towlettes. Store in a plastic bag or other container in a cool, dry place. Use the pack daily or periodically (e.g., 2-3 consecutive days per week) until you see results. Other usage suggestions: Wrap an Ace bandage loosely around the pack and body to hold the pack in place. Use other packs and compresses with the pack, such as grape, mullein, vinegar, salt, alka-thyme, Epsom salt, etc. Meditate, pray, read inspirational texts, or think positive thoughts while using the pack.
